Top Five Friday | Favorite Fantasy Books & Giveaway Announcement!

Hello everyone, and happy February! This month has some amazing upcoming releases we can all look forward to, like The Belles, Queen’s Rising, Heart of Iron, Honor Among Thieves, and The Traitor’s Game. It’s sort of hard to miss what all of these new releases have in common: they’re fantasies! We really love fantasy novels. And that’s probably an understatement. So we thought it was fitting for this week’s Top Five Friday to feature our favorite fantasy books!

Read to the very end so you don’t miss our giveaway for an ARC of one of the previously mentioned new releases (or just click here to skip right to the giveaway).

5. Shadow and Bone (Grishaverse)

The magic and power dynamic in this world is so intense! It’s hard not to be completely enthralled with the Grishaverse.

4. Uprooted

Uprooted is both fascinating and terrifying. But it’s a fantasy novel thriving with beautiful magic!

3. A Darker Shade of Magic

Do I really need to explain this? Victoria Schwab is a force to be reckoned with when it comes to world building. She creates something captivating and dangerous and we love it!

2. Caraval

Caraval is so beautifully written in terms of magic, descriptions, and world building. There’s a reason it’s one of our favorites!

1. A Court of Mist and Fury

We really don’t need to explain this.

  1. I totally agree with The Shades of Magic series and Caraval! I’ve had the Grishaverse series on my TBR for a while, but have never picked it up. I am loving the new covers though! I’m kicking myself for not buying the first book to have signed while I was attending her event for The Language of Thorns.

Thank you so much for the giveaway opportunity! Good luck to all 🙂

    1. We were at the Language of Thorns event if you’re meaning the one at Joseph Beth in Cincinnati. I bought all of the new ones before going! Also, confession, neither of us have completed anymore than the first in the Grisha trilogy yet, so we are solely basing this off of one book!
