Unboxing | February Owlcrate

Another month has passed and with it, another Owlcrate has arrived. February’s box had some exciting surprises, so let’s jump right in!

Obviously there will be spoilers, so look away if you don’t want to know what’s in this box!

This month’s theme was Hidden Worlds!

Up first, we have a sticker and a candle!

The sticker was from Alice in Wonderland featuring Alice and the White Rabbit.

The small candle from Books on Candles was inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia, and it was called “Through the Wardrobe”.

Up next, there was a pencil pouch with a quote from Daughter of Smoke and Bone by Laini Taylor featuring art from Risa Rodil.

There was also a button key necklace inspired by Coraline by Neil Gaiman.

Lastly before the book, Owlcrate outdid themselves! Every box came with a giant wall tapestry with art from eviebookish (which you can purchase here!), and it required the help of my bookshelves to show off!

And the moment we’ve all been waiting for: this month’s book pick was….

The Hazel Wood by Melissa Albert! As you all know, I thoroughly enjoyed this one when I read it in January, so I’m stoked to have this exclusive edition! It’s Hinterland green, which is very on-theme with the story. It came with stickers, a note from the author, and every copy was signed as well!

Next month’s box will be a doozy as well with it’s Across the Galaxy theme!

March’s box will include a signed copy of the book, and instead of an exclusive cover, the pages will be stained (think Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom)! Every box will also come with a candle from Wick and Fable!

So join now! March boxes will sell out fast, and I’m expecting them to be just as great!

What did you think of this month’s box? What other subscription boxes should I try out?
