This month I was lucky enough to get my hands on a Fairyloot box! I’ve always envied other people’s unboxings because the stuff in Fairyloot’s monthly boxes always looks amazing! May’s theme was “Save the Kingdom” which sounded right up my alley!
The first item in the box was the spoiler card, a themed bookmark, a lip scrub, and a card promoting Legendary by Stephanie Garber!
The lip scrub was inspired by The Remnant Chronicles by Mary E. Pearson (which I sadly haven’t read), but it smelled amazing — and there were 3 different ones subscribers could’ve received created by Geeky Clean. I got Venda which smelled like melons.
The Legendary card had one of the 4 UK hardcover designs on it, which I’m definitely ordering a UK copy so I can see which design I get!
Up next, there was a bag of tea from The Tea Leaf Co. as well as a pack of page flags from Fictiontea Designs inspired by the Throne of Glass series!
Next, there was a bath bomb shaped like a castle designed by Little Hearts Gifts which was inspired by the book of the month!
Another item in the box was a coaster with a design created by Evie Bookish (I LOVE her designs), and it features a quote from The Winners Trilogy by Marie Rutkoski.
The last item before the book was a book sleeve created by Reverie & Ink with a quote from An Ember in the Ashes! The materials used for this are a lot different than the ones used to make the other book sleeves I’ve received in the past, so I was glad to have something unique!
And last but not least, the book!
This month’s pick was Onyx and Ivory by Mindee Arnett. I’ve been seeing this one around, so I was definitely interested enough to want to pick it up! The Fairyloot edition came with an art print, a sticker, a note from the author, a signed bookplate, AND SPRAYED EDGES. It’s beautiful, you guys.
Here’s my Fairyloot buddy number, so if you have the matching one, let me know!
Next month’s theme is “Rebels in Ballgowns”, and I’m so excited for it! There will be items inspired by Legendary, Shatter Me, The Selection, and Nevernight, so it’s shaping up to be a killer box!
So that’s it! I can’t wait for next month’s box (I have a feeling I know what the book is — yay!), so I’ll be stalking the mailbox until it’s delivered.
What did you think of this month’s box? Let us know down below!
Oooh, I was so excited for unboxings for this one because I really wanted it for the book, but told myself try and show some financial restraint. I really love those sprayed edges and I’m swooning over the bath bomb too β€
