Unboxing | May Owlcrate

It’s my favorite time of the month — Owlcrate unboxing time! Their boxes are always great, and this month was no different. The theme for May was ” Fight Like a Girl”, so let’s start unboxing!

First up, there was a cool bookmark, a beautifully colored bath bomb, and an enamel pin!

The tassel bookmark was double-sided and created by Indigo Eleven with quotes from The Wrath and the Dawn and Flame in the Mist, both written by Renee Ahdieh!

The bath bomb was created by Whipped Up Wonderful and inspired by Tomi Adeyemi’s Children of Blood and Bone!

Then the enamel pin, which is my favorite, is designed by Out of Print and is inspired by none other than our favorite heroine, Hermione Granger!

The next item was illustrated by Melanie Bourgeois and featured Inej from the Six of Crows duology!

The last item before we get to the books — and yes, it’s bookS, plural) — was an item I’ve never received in a subscription box before! It’s a beautiful wall hanging created by Evie Bookish (she can do no wrong) with a quote from the A Court of Thorns and Roses series!

Like previously mentioned, this month’s box was extra special because we received TWO books! The first being Catching Stars by Cayla Keenan, and exclusive edition published for Owlcrate by Oftomes Publishing!

And the main book pick of the month was…

…Sky in the Deep by Adrienne Young! We’ve previously blogged about Waiting on Wednesday for this one, so I’m excited to have this exclusive Owlcrate edition! The original cover is gold, but this edition has cool silver detailing. It also came with an exclusive pin, and it was signed by the author herself!

Next month’s theme is “Summer Lovin'”, and it will have an exclusive item from Riddle’s Tea Shoppe!

If you’re not yet subscribed and would like to do so, just click here and get June’s box!
