Lost in Pages

One thing that we’re not the best at is finishing series. It has nothing to do with the books or the authors — both can be amazing! For some reason, we just can’t seem to follow through until the end. Maybe it’s because we don’t want to leave the world or the characters behind? Or maybe we’re just being lazy? Either way, this Friday we’re talking about the top five series we want to finish!

1. The Red Queen series by Victoria Aveyard

Both of us have met Victoria, and every book we own of hers is signed. Why isn’t that motivation enough? We’ve heard pretty great things about the later books in this series, so it’s about time we get around to finishing it.

2. The Throne of Glass series by Sarah J. Maas

We’ve both been talking about finishing off the ToG series for YEARS. With the final book coming this fall and a community reread happening now, there are actually no excuses.

3. The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Clare

This is more for me (Katie) because for some reason I’ve only ever read the first book. This is unacceptable.

4. The Grisha trilogy by Leigh Bardugo

Same goes for this series. We’ve both only read the first book, but we’ve heard nothing but great things about Leigh Bardugo’s novels.

5. The Darkest Minds trilogy by Alexandra Bracken

This one technically becomes a series at the end of this month, and we’re planning series recaps in preparation The Darkest Legacy release! So, by the end of this month, we’ll have successfully finished this series. That’s one less thing to worry about.
