I’d always meant to pick this graphic novel series up, so I’m glad I finally did! The characters were all adorable and had their own individual personalities which I greatly enjoyed. I also liked the mix of supernatural creatures in a summer camp. It reminded me of my elementary school girl scout days.

I knocked off a star because there was no real connection or flow between the chapters/issues, and new stuff just kept happening randomly. I’m hoping that the next volume has a more coherent plot, especially given the events at the end of the first issue.

The thing I enjoyed the most about this volume was the artwork. I’ll definitely be looking into more from the illustrator in the near future.

All in all, it was super quick, lighthearted read! I finished it in around 45 minutes at work, if that tells you anything! I’d recommend it to anyone who is wanting to dive into the world of graphic novels. It’s a great introduction!
