SBPT Post | Wrap Up & Recommendations

Hello, everyone! This post is the last one I’ll be making for this year’s Summer Blogger Promo Tour 2018! I want to start by saying I’m super sorry this didn’t get posted Sunday on the regular post day — I have a memory problem at 25, I swear. I’d also like to say that I had so much fun! These past 2 months of shared posting and idea creating with Katie at A Cup of Cyanide have been super interesting and enlightening. We have some  differences in what we read, but it never affected any collaborating we did. I couldn’t have asked for a better tour partner! I say it’s because she has a great name — Katie is a great name, right??

For our final post, we decided to give each other suggestions! I tried to take into account your love of all things SFF, so here are my recommendations for you! I hope you like them!

1. Strange the Dreamer by Laini Taylor

This is one of my favorite reads of 2018, and I can’t recommend it enough. Laini Taylor has beautiful writing, and the story is so captivating! If you get a chance, check out the audiobook as well! Steve West holds a special narrating spot in my heart.

2. An Ember in the Ashes by Sabaa Tahir

Speaking of favorites of the year, I’m super glad I finally picked up the Ember series! I really love the characters — Elias is my love — and the plot is highly addictive!

3. The Cruel Prince by Holly Black

Who hasn’t heard of this book? I thoroughly enjoyed it, despite the hype. I also have had the chance to read the sequel, The Wicked King, and honestly, this series just keeps getting better. Holly Black knows how to write a damn ending.

Until next time,
