Top Five Friday | Most Anticipated Fall Releases

Since today is the last day of August and September brings the lovely fall season, I thought it’d be a great time to talk about my most anticipated fall releases! This upcoming September-November has some amazing releases, so it’s incredibly hard to pick just five!

*These are in no particular order!*

1. Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J. Maas (October 23rd)

33590260

I haven’t finished the Throne of Glass series just yet, but I can’t wait for this release. It’ll be nice to finish reading the entire series without having to wait that long. Apologies for the readers who’ve had to wait forever for the series to end! Those years and cliffhangers can be brutal.

2. The Reckoning of Noah Shaw by Michelle Hodkin (November 13th)

38191862

The end of The Becoming of Noah Shaw left me with such a sour taste in my mouth, so I can’t wait to see how the next book pans out. Hopefully, a little sweeter. Also, I’ve always been a fan of the Mara Dyer covers, but this series is taking them to the next level!

3. An Absolutely Remarkable Thing by Hank Green (September 25th)

24233708

I’ve been an avid Vlogbrothers fan for YEARS, so when Hank announced he was releasing a book, I screamed. The cover is just so Hank, and I’m really intrigued with the premise. I have high hopes for this one, and it proves that the Green brothers are a force to be reckoned with.

4. Vengeful by V.E. Schwab (September 25th)

September 25th is the best release date because we’re also graced with V.E. Schwab’s long-awaited sequel to Vicious. I couldn’t decided which cover to show because they’re both so fitting for the themes of the book! Vicious was the first Schwab book I ever read, and I was hooked instantly, so I have high expectations for this sequel.

5. Muse of Nightmares by Laini Taylor

25446343

Strange the Dreamer quickly became one of my all-time favorite books this year, and I cannot wait for this sequel. The characters are amazingly well-rounded, the plot is unique yet familiar, and the writing is superb. I recommend Strange to nearly everyone I encounter at work, and I can’t wait to inevitably rave about this sequel.

I’m sure there are a bunch that I’m leaving out, so let me know if there are any I missed! I can’t wait to read these books, so these weeks need to go by faster. I’d also like to apologize in advanced to my wallet — that poor thing.
