Hello, everyone! Long time, no see. Today I’m back with an unboxing of Book of the Month’s YA subscription box! I’m a BotM YA affiliate, so if you use the link here to sign up, you can get your first month’s box for just $9.99. Book of the Month picks are usually super diverse in genre, and they go out of their way to give you options you’re going to love!
The September picks are some of the book community’s most anticipated new releases! This month, you can choose any of these options:
- The Ten Thousand Doors of January by Alix E. Harrow
- Permanent Record by Mary H.K. Choi
- The Girl the Sea Gave Back by Adrienne Young
- The Stars and the Blackness Between Them by Junauda Petrus
- Frankly in Love by David Yoon
As an added bonus, Frankly in Love is actually going to be made into a movie! So you definitely want to get your copy and read it before that comes out in theaters. Also, happy book birthday to David Yoon because today, September 10th, is the release date for Frankly!
And my choice for the month was…
…The Ten Thousand Doors of January! I thought this one sounded amazing – mansions with treasures, books with magical worlds, and adventures filled with love and danger! Also, that cover sold me alone.
What book would you pick this month?
Until next time,
Looks like a good haul! I’d love to get a box like this…but I don’t read quite fast enough.

One of the cool things about BotM is you can always skip months so you never feel overwhelmed with the amount of books you have to read! They always have the extras from previous months as add-ons, too, so you can still get older selections in future months! I love it.
