The books this month are:
All the Stars and Teeth by Adalyn Grace – Fantasy
I’ve seen this one buzzing around the book world the last few months, and the early reviews are loving it! Pirates and mermaids and heirs to the throne, oh my!
Yes No Maybe So by Becky Albertali and Aisha Saeed – Romance/Contemporary
Everyone loves a good love story, and these two authors are good at writing them. Political canvassing turns enemies to lovers, and that sounds so darn cute.
A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder by Holly Jackson – Thriller
I’m always down for a good thriller mystery, and this one sounds quite intriguing. Uncovering secrets about a closed case murder from her school, Pippa gets in over her head and could prove the killer is still out there.
The Sound of Stars by Alechia Dow – Sci-Fi
This story has aliens, forbidden books and libraries, and pop-music-loving characters. What more could you want?
Ink in the Blood by Kim Smejkal – Fantasy
Queer fantasy with tattoo magic? This sounds amazing.
So, what will your choice be? I’m leaning more toward All the Stars and Teeth!
Until next time,
I’m most excited about “Yes No Maybe So” but “A Good Girl’s Guide to Murder” also sounds awesome.
