Hello, everyone! I wanted to document today as being the best day ever because I received this beautiful box from Tor Books. I had requested a physical ARC of Addie LaRue months ago because I was incredibly desperate to get my hands on it. I was given an e-ARC (thank you to everyone who made that possible), so I never anticipated getting a physical galley. So before I show you the contents, I wanted to give special thanks to Tor Books and to Jordan Hanley for sending me the best mail I’ve gotten this year!
Let me start by saying the packaging of this box was so well done. I love the forget-me-not tissue paper! I wasn’t expecting all these goodies.
There was a little notebook and a feather shaped pen, both of which I can’t wait to use.
Next, there was a little box and a drawstring bag. Inside the bag was a tiny bouquet of flowers with a note that said, “Remember me.” Inside the box was a cute keychain with Addie themed accessories.
There was a little bundle of things that was tied with cute lace ribbon that included a set of beautiful art postcards, a package of forget-me-not seeds, a little letter, and a key shaped tassel keychain.
Last but certainly not least, there was a physical copy of The Invisible Life of Addie LaRue! I’m so excited to be able to actually hold this masterpiece of a story. You can definitely feel the love and time and effort that V.E. Schwab put into every word. I cannot wait for everyone to be able to read this story.
Getting this in the mail was so exciting, and I can’t thank Tor and Jordan enough for their generosity. Everyone, please go preorder this book. You won’t regret it! If you preorder and submit proof here before release date (October 6th), you can get a set of the art postcards for yourself.
