Hello, everyone! It’s me, your terribly inconsistent book blogger, Katie. 2020 has been a YEAR, everyone is fully aware of this. I had a decent amount of life changes at the beginning of the year, and then a quarantine and a worldwide pandemic hit. Talk about timing, amirite?
I thought it might make sense to kind of reintroduce myself again to blogging by making a post addressing my lack of posts. This year has brought ups and downs. I lost friends, but I feel closer to the ones I still have. I lost my grandma and I miss her dearly, but my family has stuck together through the loss. My boyfriend and I bought our first home, and I could not be more excited to spend years and years making memories with him there. I’m incredibly lucky to have what I do, and 2020 has shown me how valuable certain things in life truly are.
On the blog/book side of things, 2020 wrecked my reading. I’m not sure if it’s a product of quarantine or my brain just being extra slumpy, but I have really slacked when it comes to my reading goals. I’m trying to spend the last few months of this dreadful year playing catch up, so we’ll see how that goes.
Let me know in the comments some good books I’ve missed the last few months! Here’s to hoping the rest of 2020 isn’t as big of a garbage dump as the beginning has been.
Until next time,
