Unboxing | January Owlcrate

Hello, everyone! Today I’m coming at you with an unboxing. I haven’t subscribed to Owlcrate in a little while, but when they announced January’s theme (From Olympus with Love), I knew it was going to feature Lore by Alexandra Bracken – I needed an exclusive copy of that! Without any further ado, let’s get into the box!

Up first, there was a little bag of loose leaf tea created by Riddle’s Tea Shoppe called “Nectar of the Gods”, and there was also this month’s enamel pin with a design by Icey Designs!

Next, there was a small tapestry designed by Eden Cooke featuring the lunar calendar.

Next, there was a double sided wooden bookmark designed by In the Reads featuring quotes from Madeline Miller’s two books, Circe and The Song of Achilles.

Then there was an enamel pin banner designed by Michelle Gray – which is handy because I just ran out of space on my current banner!

The last item was a letter board kit with a tiny bag to hold all the pieces with an illustration of Hermes. It was designed by the team at Owlcrate, and I honestly am happy to finally own one!

And lastly, the book! It was…

Lore by Alexandra Bracken! This edition is exclusive to Owlcrate with a different color cover. It’s also signed by the author and comes with a little letter from Alex herself.

All in all, this box was okay. I liked the letter board and the bookmark is very pretty, but I think a lot of Owlcrate’s items lately haven’t been things I’ll use/need. I wish they had a book only subscription because I’d love that! I do like their exclusive signed editions.

What do you guys think? Let me know in the comments below.

Until next time,
